After a previous collaboration between Ted Doomen, director of HealthTrain, and Roger Hendriks, CTO of Fenêtre, the potential of a future collaboration remained in the back of his mind.

When HealthTrain wanted to develop a healthcare appointment application for a study on the German market into digital support for osteoarthritis patients, they easily found Fenêtre again. Since 2021, HealthTrain has been working with Fenêtre on the development of a mobile appointment app. In addition to this app, which is intended for healthcare clients, Fenêtre is also developing the associated back office and an online portal for healthcare practices.

Scalable low-code application

Ted Doomen indicates that an eye on the future also contributed to the choice for Fenêtre when it comes to development of the integrated soluion. "We were looking for something solid, something with a foundation. Then we came across the Silicon Low Code platform, and that really appealed to us."

With this platform, Fenêtre develops web applications up to ten times faster than with traditional programming. Thanks to the extensive standard functionalities, the application can easily be scaled up, for example with additional languages ​​or via links to new functionalities.

Accessible anytime, anywhere with a mobile appointment application

The HealthTrain mobile appointment application supports physiotherapists and practices in planning appointments and offering digital care. The app is integrated to work with Apple Health and Google Fit, this makes it even easier for users to track their health goals.

The planning and keeping track of appointments is not the only thing the application is used for, another important feature is the reminders for appointments. This ensures fewer gaps in the agenda of practices; the number of no-shows is drastically reduced.

This is not only important for the clinics, the end users also benefit from this, because they do not have to pay a no-show fee.

Video calling is also integrated into the application. After the current provider stopped providing that service, Roger van Fenêtre came up with a proposal for a replacement. "It is nice that they proactively come up with solutions."
