Thanks to its large customer base with more or less the same business risks, it is able to make collective agreements and purchase products on a large scale from reliable insurers.

The Fenêtre team developed the first version of a customer portal for Techniek Nederland Insurance in just a few short sprints. This customer portal allows customers to view and manage their own insurance information. The portal's functionalities can be further expanded in later versions based on feedback on this initial version.

Modern customer portal with different rights and roles per customer
To achieve the desired functionality and offer a modern environment to Techniek Nederland Verzekeringen's customers, a customer portal was developed using the Silicon Low Code platform.
Administrators at Techniek Nederland Verzekeringen's customers have access to all their own data. They can also assign roles and permissions to their colleagues to access (specific) policies and documents. This allows each customer to configure access according to their unique business processes.

Import relationship data from an external system and streamline invitations to the customer portal
Existing contacts at Techniek Nederland Verzekeringen's customers are retrieved via company-based synchronization from the external system. They are then easily invited with a professional, automated welcome email, after which they take the first step toward activating their customer portal account.

Retrieve policy data from DIAS
To reduce system load, we've opted for nightly data synchronization with the customer portal. Policy information and documents are retrieved from DIAS and presented clearly in the customer portal.
When a new company is created, the relevant data is retrieved immediately. Furthermore, this organization will now be included in the nightly synchronization.
